Kristi Heck

Owner, Managing Director, & Funeral Director

Born and raised in Fairview, she has always been at home in the Peace Country. Kristi has committed her life to serving the community and raising her family. Starting off as a hair salon owner for over 10 years, her fondest memories was the time spent with her clients in long-term care, and lodges. Kristi always had an interest in funeral services, and it was reawakened in 2013 with the passing away of Kristi’s most treasured friend, her Grandmother. She closed her salon and had the opportunity to focus on her family for a while before pursuing a career as a funeral director. Kristi and her partner Chris have four busy boys who have a love for playing hockey and the outdoors. They spend many hours together pursuing some of the favourite pastimes of the Peace Country. Kristi is passionate about community- and family- centered care. She takes pride in making sure the needs of each family are met with the highest standard of care.

Alexandra Jolicoeur

Alexandra Jolicoeur

Assistant Director

Alex grew up in the town of Dryden, Ontario where she spent her time exploring the vast lakes and forestry, playing hockey and competing on her horses.

Three months after turning 18 she packed up herself and her pup Luke into her truck and trailer and made a spontaneous move by herself across Canada to Grande Prairie.

For the next 3 years, she worked in heavy equipment, automotive, and as a tow-truck driver. Moving like a gypsy for work, she eventually found herself in the charming town of Fairview.

Here she began online education for Business Management. With spare time not being physically in class, she found herself looking for a new career path, as she has compassion for helping people. She then met Kristi and started as her Assistant Director in November 2021.
