We are deeply sorry for your loss - the staff at Fairview Location
I Annie (Schwerdt) Fisher was born in Saskatchewan in the year 1927. My parents were farmers in Saskatchewan. But in the year 1929 decided to make a move father north to the Great Peace River area. The dust storms and grasshoppers were invading Saskatchewan. My parents, my brother Ernie, my dad’s parents, and my dad’s two brothers made a move to what is known as Worsley in the Peace River area.
My parents took up land, raised a family, and they had a mixed farm. In 1948 I married Bob Fisher who was a returned soldier from the Second World War. Bob was born and raised in Edmonton and Topland area of Alberta. We farmed and Bob had a trucking business. We raised a family, a daughter Elsbeth, son William. Have two grandsons Greg, and Garth. Two granddaughters Bobbie Jo, and Lisa. 5 great-granddaughters, 5 great-grandsons and 2 great-great Grandchildren
Bob passed away in 1994, Bob was a good husband, father, and friend. I miss him dearly. In 2004 I sold my home in Worsley. Moved to the Garrison Manor in Fairview. Life was good, I’ve been truly blessed.
A Graveside Funeral service will take place at the Worsley Cemetery May 28, 2022 at 11:00 am. Following the service, the family invites you to join them for a luncheon and time of fellowship 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm at the Legion in Worsley.
