Carla Annette Gannon

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mrs. Carla Gannon of Hines Creek, Alberta on January 8, 2025 at the age of 76 years.

Carla is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Don; son David (Ann Marie) Gannon, daughters Tracy (Cameron) Richardson, Leslie Moryski; grandchildren Candice Moryski, Reina Gannon, Rebecca (Mitch Peterson) Richardson, Dillan (Courtney Douglas) Richardson, Lucas (Mackenzie Stymiest) Gannon, Brodie (Abigale Zacharias) Moryski, and Nicholas Richardson; great grandchildren Millie Moryski, Thomas Moryski, James Peterson, Antonio Stymiest; and brother Don Lynn (Sandy) Hoodenpyle and family.

She was predeceased by parents Helen and Robert Hoodenpyle, sister Beryl Harmon, and her great grandson Joseph,

Carla was an avid crafter. She loved to crochet and quilt and was a member of the Piece Friends Quilt Guild. Also, a lifetime member of the Peace Draft Horse Club she could be found at their events throughout the year. Camping with family held a special place in her heart and she always looked forward to those trips and the time spent with loved ones.

A Celebration of Life will be Saturday April 26th, 2025 at 2:00pm at the Dave Shaw Memorial Complex in Hines Creek, AB.

Memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Diabetes Association.
