Carolyn Jean Richardson

It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Carol Richardson at the Fairview Health Complex on June 19, 2025.

Carol was born and raised in Dryden, Ontario, before moving to Toronto, Ontario, and later Chilliwack, BC, while continuing her career as a school bus driver, often as the only female driver. After retiring, she moved to Bonanza, AB and volunteered as an EA before meeting Clarence and moving to Hines Creek, AB.

Carol is survived by her loving husband, Clarence and family, her children Rick (Roxanna) and Lisa Groves, grandchildren Allan, Todd (Veronica) Evans, Logan and Tori Groves, and brothers Mac and Russ Rowat.

Carol was predeceased by her parents, George and Winnie Rowat, brothers Chuck and Derek, and grandson Brandon.

A Celebration of Life will be held August 11, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at the Dave Shaw Memorial Complex in Hines Creek. A memorial service and interment will be held in Dryden at a later date.
