Christopher J.E Bak

Sadness looms on Oct 18, 2025 when Christopher J.E. Bak passed away at the age of 51. Christopher was born Dec.10,1973 to Reiny and Brunie Bak in Fairview, Alberta Canada.

With his loving brother Oliver by his side in Conroe Texas, a compassionate, caring family decision was made to remove life support after a severe cardiac episode.

Christopher loved life and always challenged himself. His biggest challenge was beating a rare cancer diagnosis and gaining a new vision on life, which included world travelling and education advancement (Degree in Architectural Technology from NAIT (1994) and Chemical Engineer from the University of Calgary (2007), which ultimately lead him to Conroe Texas to finally plant his roots. In March of 2025 he achieved his certification as a  NACE CP4 Cathodic Protcetion Specialist. 

Early in his move to Conroe he adopted his precious companion, Miss Kittington and was the most loving and devoted cat dad to MK.

Christopher leaves to mourn his loving family, Brunie (mom), Caroline (sister) and Family, Oliver (brother), nephews, nieces, friends, and associates.
Christopher is predeceased by his dad, Reiny and sister, Stephanie.

Christopher had requested cremation with no formal funeral service. To honour his requests Christopher will be taking his final flight home to Fairview accompanied by his mom and sister. A private family burial will be held in spring 2026 at the Waterhole cemetery in Fairview, Alberta
