Frances (Dell) Delphine Schischikowsky 

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Dell Schischikowsky, mother, grandmother, and friend,  at the aged of 86, of Hines Creek AB, who passed away on August 26, 2025 peacefully at Fairview Hospital.

Dell was born on February 1, 1939 in Cold Lake, AB to Clifford, Kathrine McKee . She grew up in Clear Prairie and later built a life in Hines Creek.

Dell was known for her warm heart, her love of gardening, and the joy she found in being a grandmother. She cherished her growing family and held the special honor of becoming a great-great-grandmother. Her home was always open, filled with the sound of laughter, conversation, and the shuffle of cards. Whether it was a game at the kitchen table or a friendly chat with anyone who walked through her door, Dell made everyone feel welcome and loved.

Dell is survived by her children: Dwayne Dei, Denise Joskowitz (Howie), Dexter Dei (Gina), Dawn Obrigewitch (Rocky), Danita Lidstone (Dale), Dion Dei (Sherry), and Chad Schischikowsky (Randi-Lynn). She also leaves behind many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews, all of whom she loved deeply.

Predeceased by parents Clifford, Kathrine McKee, Husband Jerry Schischikowsky, Son Dudley Dei, 

Brother Daniel McKee & Granddaughter Kenzye Schischikowsky.

A Celebration of Dell's Life will be held on Monday, September 15, 2025, at 2:00 PM at the Dave Shaw Memorial Complex in Hines Creek. 

The family wishes to thank the hospital staff, Hines Creek Homesteader Lodge for the wonderful care and support.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Fairview Hospital Palliative Care.
