John Kenneth Eastman

John Kenneth Eastman, 88 years, passed away on May 5, 2022 at the Sturgeon Community Hospital. He was the husband of Lyda Eastman and they shared 66 years together and raised a
family of six. Born in Berwyn Alberta, he was the son of Wes and Margaret Eastman. He attended Lloyd Garrison High in Berwyn and settled on the Griffin Creek family farm south of Brownvale. John kept busy farming and trucking and in his spare time was a 4H Leader. John enjoyed curling, camping, fishing, hunting and
travelling. John's pride and joy was his grandchildren and great grandchildren. John is survived by his wife Lyda, Judy (Marvin), Ken, Pat(Glenna), Ted (Sandra), Martin (Brenda), Rick (Bonnie) with 18 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren, his sister Dorthey Kennedy and many loved nieces and nephews and extended family.
