John (Allan) Mann

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Allan Mann on Monday, May 26, 2025, at the Northwest Health Center in High Level at the age of 72. 

Allan was born in Peace River on December 12, 1952, to John and Margaret Mann. He was the oldest son of 4 children. Allan married Sandi in 1973 and moved to Grimshaw in 1979. He was very active with all his girls’ activities, along with men’s hockey. Allan was always hard working, and providing for his family was his priority. 

Allan and Sandi moved to High Level in 1994 to open Mann & Mann Insurance and later Budget Rent-A-Car with his son-in-law. He had recently retired and was spending time with his family, especially his grandkids.He spent a lot of time on the road for his grandkids' hockey games or heading to the golf course. He enjoyed golfing with friends and trips to Hawaii.   

Allan leaves behind his beloved wife Sandi, daughters Cathy (Jeff), Angie (Shane), and Grandkids Jordyn, Logan, Jackson and Tate. His siblings Bruce, Leslie and Laura. 

Allan will be remembered by his principled and honest approach to life, always prioritizing his children and grandchildren in all their endeavours. He has made a difference in the lives of so many who have had the privilege to work and spend time with him. 

The family is extremely grateful to the staff and Physicians at both the Grande Prairie Regional Hospital and the Northwest Health Center for the kind, compassionate care that Allan received. 

Allan was an avid supporter and volunteer of the Northwest Health Foundation. He has requested no service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Northwest Health Foundation at info@nwhealthfoundation.ca or 780-841-3241.
