Joseph William Ewach passed away peacefully on March 22, 2026, held close by the love of those who meant the most to him. Joe was a deeply cherished husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend whose kindness, humour, and steady presence touched everyone who knew him. His absence will be felt profoundly, and he will be missed deeply, lovingly, and always. 

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Diane (nee, Thompson), his daughter Jennifer Kosiorek, and grandchildren Jill and Hunter Kosiorek; as well as his siblings, Mary (Zesko), Stella (Matoga) and Andrew (Sylvia), and numerous extended family members and friends.

A Celebration of Joe's Life will be held on Saturday, May 30, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at the Royal Canadian Legion in Grimshaw, AB, followed by a fellowship.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to the Alzheimer’s Society of Canada in Joe’s honour.

Joe will be deeply missed by everyone whose lives he touched. He lived a full, honest life filled with love, laughter, and quiet strength, and his legacy will live on through his family and the many people he inspired.
