Ken Baird

With heavy hearts, the family of Ken Baird announces his passing at his home after a short battle with cancer.  Ken passed on January 15th, 2022 at the age of 73 years. He was born on March 4th, 1948.

Ken's passion was his family, and he shared many outings- camping, fishing, hunting and our adventurous quad trips.

Ken was proud of his trades as a pipefitter and plumber, he spent 55 years through Western Canada in the construction trade which moved his family several times over the years including to Manning and Fairview.

Kenneth is survived by his wife of 49 1/2 years Carol (Mulloy); son Cameron; their daughter Shannon and her husband Dustin Harder;. their granddaughters Kristen & Kaylin Harder. As well as sisters Muriel (Ron) Bernier, and Donna (Frank) Ballard.

He was predeceased by his parents Crofford and Irene Baird; brothers Elwood, Doug, Cliff, and sister Mona Borodawka. As well as his son Clayton Kyle, who passed on January 26, 2018, leaving a void in his heart.

There will be a small invite-only family tribute followed by a celebration of life outdoor gathering in the summer.
