Melvin Mervin McAllister

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our brother and uncle, Melvin McAllister. Who passed peacefully at his home on March 18, 2022.

Melvin was born on August 10, 1963, to Bill & Eileen McAllister in Fairview, Alberta.

He spent his years working as a truck driver, taxi driver, and serving communities as a firefighter.

Melvin loved spreading the word of the Lord to his friends, family, and other people in his life.

He was an A.A. Member for 28 Years strong.

Melvin’s favourite passion was spending time with family and friends. He loved the company of his loved ones.

Melvin is predeceased by his nephew William McAllister, sister Tina, brother Art, and Father Bill (William) McAllister.

Melvin is survived by his mother Eileen (Fairview), sister Mona (Bob) (Fairview), sister Bea (Drumheller), sister Alvina (Edmonton), sister Ella (Red Deer), brother Ron (Leah) (Regina), brother Roger (Lynn) (Onoway) and by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A Funeral Service for Melvin will be held on April 4th, 2022 at the Eureka River Hall. Viewing at 1:00 PM and Service at 2:00 PM.
