Mona Marie (Whitford) Wilds

With heavy hearts, we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved mother, Mona Marie Wilds, on April 17, 2025, in Fairview, Alberta. At the age of 89 she went to be with the angels.

Mona was born at home in Marina (Worsley), Alberta, on November 18, 1935, to Rucie and Billy Whitford. She was the only daughter, along with 7 brothers and the last surviving member of her immediate family. 

Mona’s greatest pride was her family. She leaves behind a legacy of love in her children: Gloria, Albert, Wendy, Carrie, Marjorie, Harry, Dana, Juanita, and Gordon, along with their families. She was predeceased by her eldest daughter, Linda.

In keeping with Mona’s wishes, there will be no service. She will be laid to rest at a later date.
