Roger Victor Joseph Boucher

Roger Victor Joseph Boucher, a long-time resident of Dixonville, Alberta passed away in Peace River on July 1, 2025 at the age of 61 years.

Roger was born on September 6, 1963, in Peace River to parents Charles and Juliette Boucher. His younger years were spent living in Jean Cote and Peace River. As the youngest of 6-siblings, Roger was able to get away with a lot of mischief.

He was a jack of all trades, but mechanics was his specialty, following that was carpentry and plumbing. Roger was a gifted artist who could build arbors from willows. He would take his sons rock collecting and fossil hunting, then make beautiful end tables from the agates they had found. He could always make something special from whatever wood he had laying around.

Roger had a heart of gold and would do anything for his two boys, Riley and Austin. They were his world. When Riley passed away on July 20, 2024, Roger and Austin were devastated but stood strong for each other.

Roger is survived by his son Austin; brothers Jules and Denis; and sister Doris Dumont.

He was predeceased by his parents Charles and Juliette; son Riley; brothers Gilbert and Romeo; as well as his sister Lilian Gaucher.

Roger will be cremated and at his request, no service will be held.
