Long time resident of Jean Cote, Alberta, Romeo Boucher, passed away in McLennan, Alberta on February 19, 2023 at the age of 65 years. Romeo was born on July 26, 1957 in McLennan, Alberta to is parents Charles and Juliette Boucher {Lavoie).
Romeo was a chef by trade, but also operated equipment for local farmers during planting and harvesting. Romeo took great pride in cooking and canning, and loved to share whatever he made with his friends. He was famous for his sucre a la creme, wild strawberry jam, baked beans, pasta sauce, shrimp, and cinnamon buns.
For years, Romeo was an avid MMA fan, and collected posters of the MMA effects.
His biggest passion was his Harley Davidson Motor Bike. Romeo loved to ride and put over 500,000 km on his bikes. Romeo travelled extensively across Canada and the United States, making many friends along the way.
Romeo had a heart of gold, he loved people and was the life of the party with his friendliness and jokes. He was very compassionate, understood the addiction cycle and was there to help others in need.
Romeo was predeceased by his parents, his brother Gilbert Boucher, and his sister Lillian Gaucher. He is survived by his siblings: Jules, Denis, Roger, and Doris, as well as many great friends.
A celebration of Romeo's life will take place this summer in Jean Cote, Alberta where is ashes will be interred. The service information will be updated at a later date.
