Susan Pearl (Baldry) Peters

Susan was born October 15, 1961 the fourth child to Pearl and Raymond Baldry.
Susan grew up on a farm in Clear Prairie and attended Worsley Central school. She enjoyed the farm life, horses, cows, and a cigarette eating beer drinking donkey named Gus. There was a never ending supply of stories about the neighbours, the family, Clear Prairie, and amazing time they all had.
She graduated from Worsley Central School in 1979 and in 1982 her daughter Rachel was born. In 1986 she met her husband to be Jerry Peters and in 1991 her son Cole completed the crew.
In March 1995 Susan and Jerry were married in a small ceremony in Worsley.
For the majority of her adult life Susan worked in the store, starting work for Donnie Larsback and continuing for each owner after that until she decided to make a change and go to work at the camp; first for Lois and then for Sharna until she retired against her will, in November 2021. Friends, family and the community were the most important things to Susan, especially children. She made time for everyone and made everyone feel special. Everyone knew Susie for her baking, she was always quick to whip up a pie or some cheesecake.
Susan passed away July 12, 2022 after short illness and hard-fought battle.
Left to mourn is her husband Jerry, daughter Rachel (Cody), granddaughters Mikayla, Emma, and Callie; son Cole (Nicole); brother Kenny (Helen), brother Don, and brother in-law Wilfred; nieces Sonja, April, Rayelle, and Jasmine, Nephews, Shilo, and Colton.
Susan is predeceased by her parents Raymond and Pearl, sister Bonnie, and brother Terry.

A Gathering of friends will take place at a later date.

In lieu of flowers the family ask that donations get made to the wonderful nurses at the Fairview Hospital that helped Susan and the family during her stay in Palliative Care.
