Troy Dean Halifax

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Troy Dean Halifax announce his unexpected passing, on November 27, 2024 at the age of 31, in Peace River, Alberta. 

Troy was born in Taber, Alberta on May 1, 1993 to parents Dean Halifax and Patricia Drover.

Troy had a deep passion for travel. He was always planning his next big trip, carefully considering where he wanted to go. His favorite pastime, however, was driving through British Columbia. One year, he drove with his wife to Tofino twice, once in March and again in July. He was captivated by the mountains and the ocean, and as a result, he would plan a yearly road trip with his family through British Columbia, exploring different routes to drive.

Vehicles were another passion of Troy's, and he was always on the lookout for new opportunities to buy, sell, and trade. Troy's passion for selling and flipping items led him to achieve impressive results, including the sale and flipping of at least four campers in a mere three months. Troy's daily activities included browsing new trucks and searching for accessories for his truck. He would often nostalgically recall his lifted Escalade and Hummer. 

Troy leaves behind his wife Tanisha Maltais, his three beautiful children, Brantley Halifax, Oliver Halifax and Chloe Halifax. As well as his father Dean Halifax (Morgan), mother Patricia Drover, stepmom Julianna Drover (Shawn Meseman). He leaves behind his brother’s Jordan Drover (Desiree), Christopher Drover (Carlie Grenon). His sister Danyale Drover. Many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and many friends. 

Troy will be greeted into eternal peace by his sister Michelle Halifax. 

A viewing will be held at Peace Valley Funeral Home in Peace River on Friday, December 6th, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. The funeral service will take place on Saturday, December 7th, at 1:00 PM, followed by a luncheon and a time of fellowship, also at Peace Valley Funeral Home.
